The No.07 is the perfect for those who feel that the No.06 could be a little larger. The "in-between" size of the No.07 classifies this knife as neither small or big, but just right! Thanks to its stainless blade, No.07 is the best camping and picnic knife. Its stainless steel blade is corrosion-resistant. The beech wood handle is comfortable in the hand. The security system, the Virobloc®, blocks the blade in open position and closed position.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the No.06 up. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
